Image Comics has announced a new Tyrannosaurus Rex one-shot.
The comic will be penned by '68 writing team Mark Kidwell and Jay Fotos with art by Jeff Zornow (Day of the Dead: Desertion) and Fotos.
It tells the tale of the day on which the delicate balance between man and dinosaur is forever broken.
"This project hit home on satisfying any giddy child-like fantasies," said Fotos. "I told myself that if I could make a dinosaur comic, the main influences would be a lifetime of Ray Harryhausen flicks, the image of Raquel Welch in a fur bikini, and a heaping of Warner Brothers Looney Tunes.
"It's all non-stop dino-carnage in Tyrannosaurus Rex."
The comic will be released on February 9, 2011.
