Diamond Comic Distributors has announced Free Comic Book Day 2011's Gold Sponsors.
The Gold books are the main titles printed for the promotion, and predominantly contain material suitable for all ages.
The titles include Ape Entertainment's Kung Fu Panda/Richie Rich Flip Book, Archaia Entertainment's Dark Crystal/Mouse Guard Flip Book, Dark Horse Comics' Avatar: The Last Airbender/Star Wars: The Clone Wars Flip Book, Boom! Studios' Darkwing Duck/Rescue Rangers Flip Book, Archie Comics' Betty and Veronica and Papercutz's Geronimo Stilton/The Smurfs Flip Book.
IDW Publishing is releasing a Locke & Key comic, while Marvel's offering will star Spider-Man.
Image Comics has teased a 'kid-friendly' title from The Walking Dead's Robert Kirkman.
DC Comics said that their book is "a special top-secret project too big to announce".
Next year's Free Comic Book Day marks the tenth anniversary of the event.
