According to The San Diego Union-Tribune, Farhad Lame and Navid Vatankhahan, both 24, were sentenced to ten days community service and ordered to pay a $750 (£489) fine as well as restitution to their victims.
Prosecutors state that the pair photocopied their badges and sold the duplicates via the online community Craigslist. Both men were arrested in July after two of their customers were denied entrance to the convention.
Comic-Con International took place at the San Diego Convention Centre between July 22 and July 25. Lame and Vatankhahan were taken into custody on the final day of the show.
