It was announced earlier this week that Alonso would be replacing Joe Quesada as the company's Editor-In-Chief, while Quesada is to continue his role as Chief Creative Officer.
Alonso has now confirmed that he hopes to bring some of his former collaborators, such as Garth Ennis and Brian Azzarello, into the company when the time is right.
"Yes. In fact some of them have reached out to me," Alonso told Comic Book Resources. "I certainly am excited about re-cultivating some relationships with people and assuring them there is a place for them at Marvel."
The former Executive Editor also hinted that he intends to bring a number of fan favourite characters back over the course of his time as Editor-In-Chief.
