The publisher's 26 bestselling issues of the year were all written or co-written by Geoff Johns and Grant Morrison, reports Techland.
Blackest Night #8 was DC's top-selling comic in third place on Diamond's chart, followed by Blackest Night #7 in fifth and Brightest Day #0 in seventh.
The top-selling DC comic by another writer was David Finch's Batman: The Dark Knight #1.
"The best-selling DC single issue that was neither a Batman comic nor a tie-in to Blackest Night/Brightest Day was Superman #700, at position #109," said Techland's Douglas Wolk.
