Image Comics has released a teaser for the 200th issue of Todd McFarlane's Spawn #200.
Available this week, the double-sized special is written and illustrated by McFarlane in collaboration with a host of high-profile creators.
Walking Dead scribe Robert Kirkman helped script the story, while Greg Capullo and Danny Miki contributed interior artwork. Capullo, David Finch, Jim Lee, Rob Liefeld, Marc Silvestri and Ashley Wood worked with McFarlane on the cover design.
"In June of 1992 the first issue of Todd McFarlane's Spawn hit bookshelves in record numbers. Now, 18 years later, the new Spawn, Jim Downing, comes head to head with the biggest enemy of the Spawn universe, with his new sidekick Clown," reads the book's solicitation.
"Can this dynamite duo team up long enough to survive the return of a ruthless Spawn villain? And what happens when God gets into the action?"
Spawn #200 is released today.
