Haun has previously worked with most of the major comic book publishers, including both Marvel and DC, but announced this week that he will now be working exclusively with Image Comics' partner Top Cow.
"They treated me well," he told CBR. "I was interested in doing more stuff with Top Cow but I got really busy with my DC schedule."
The artist said that after a number of conversations with Top Cow publisher Filip Sablik, he managed to reach an agreement allowing him to take on a number of creator-owned properties during his time with the company.
"I'm going to be the regular artist on The Darkness starting with issue #96, and I'm going to work on it for a long, long time," he revealed. "I think it's such a cool concept and a cool character to work with."
Haun was previously best known for his work at DC Comics on the series Gotham Central.
