Widely used by online publisher AveComics Productions, the software enables creators to produce digital comics for Apple devices and other smartphones.
Users can create animated paths and a variety of visual effects, and add music to their projects through the application. It will also feature Facebook and blog support, allowing authors to preview their work online.
AveComics has used the programme to develop the digital titles Johnny Cash - a biographical account of the country singer's life - Seoul District and Bludzee.
Pricing for the software is yet to be announced. More information is available on the Aquafadas website.
