Joe Harris pens 'Vampirella' miniseries

Vampirella and the Scarlet Legion will be penned by Joe Harris (Ghost Projekt), and will stand alongside the story in Dynamite's ongoing Vampirella title.
The comic follows the adventures of the titular group - formed to stand against the prophesied return of an evil god and his mad cultists - who may or may not view Vampirella as a threat rather than an ally.
"I'm stoked to be working on a Vampirella story, one of the baddest, sexiest and most iconic characters and properties in horror comics," said Harris.
"We're looking to do something big and sprawling with a bit of a globe-spanning sweep to it. A big screen adventure interwoven with some frightening and truly horrific moments that, I hope, will help keep the dark scary."
Vampirella and the Scarlet Legion will debut in May.
