According to the publisher, the artist will take the reins on the 12-part series from issue #9 onwards.
Haun - who will collaborate with writer Ron Marz on the project - recently signed an exclusivity deal with Top Cow. His previous works include Berserker and Detective Comics.
"I've been looking for a project for quite a while where I can really grow as an artist and produce something truly epic that I can be proud of," Haun said. "Artifacts is just that project. I can't wait for people to see what Ron and I are doing on the book. It's going to be... big."
Marz added: "All writers have lists of artists they want to work with. Jeremy has been on my list for a while, so I'm really pleased Artifacts is going to be our chance to collaborate."
Artifacts #9 arrives in stores on May 25.
