Published Tuesday, Feb 22 2011, 20:08 GMT | By Mark Langshaw

Offering 2,000 comics from 150 publishers, the online storefront is the first to offer Marvel titles to Android users.
"Like our community, we are firm believers in the explosion of the Android market," said Micah Baldwin, CEO of Graphic.ly. "Being the first to provide Marvel Comics on the Android platform is a perfect example of that belief.
"This application is only the beginning of the expansion of our relationship with Google, which began as a launch partner with the Chrome Application Store."
The service also carries digital comics from Archaia Entertainment, Archie Comics and BOOM! Studios, among others. It is unknown whether DC titles will be distributed in the future.
Graphic.ly Comics is available to download via the Android Marketplace or the platform holder's official website.
