Marvel has released a number of preview images for its upcoming special issue of Captain America, celebrating 70 years of the iconic character.
March's Captain America #616 will pick up from last month's shocking finale to 'The Trial of Captain America', and sees Steve Rogers racing to find a way to free his ex-partner Bucky Barnes from a Russian prison.
The issue features regular writer Ed Brubaker, who will be joined by a number of guest artists including Mike Deodato, Ed McGuinness and Travis Charest.
In addition to Brubaker's main story, a number of other writers will also contribute shorter segments to the issue, with the likes of Howard Chaykin, Frank Tieri and Mike Benson all part of the creative team.
"No fan can miss this giant-sized celebration featuring a star-studded cast of comic's greatest creators coming together to tell amazing Captain America stories," Marvel's press release stated.
Captain America #616 releases on March 23.
