Terry Moore's 'Echo' concludes
Published Thursday, Mar 3 2011, 07:26 GMT | By Hugh Armitage
Terry Moore's creator-owned Echo title will conclude with issue #30.
The final issue of the Strangers in Paradise creator's series will be released in May.
"I'm a little surprised by how different it turned out from my original idea," Moore told Comic Book Resources. "I pictured more of a Ashley-Judd-wronged-woman-on-the-run story, but I ended up with something very different.
"It's funny how your inspirations moult into new forms when they filter through you. There were some good moments I had in mind that never made it to the page, so I'll keep those in my brain for something else later.
"But, all in all, I'm happy. And I have to say, I'm more than a little relieved that I could do a new series and find acceptance. I was worried about being pegged as a one series creator. I think Echo broke that curse for me."
