Posting on Twitter, Mills confirmed that a deal is in place to revive the anti-superhero title.
"Kevin O'Neill and I just signed up Marshal Law with DC Comics," he wrote, confirming rumours that emerged late last year.
Originally published under Marvel's Epic imprint in 1987, the title has since been re-released by Dark Horse, Cool Beanz and Image. The story follows a government-sanctioned enforcer tasked with taking down superpowered beings turned rogue.
A release date for DC's reprint is yet to be announced.
