Bethesda has teamed up with Dark Horse Comics to launch a miniseries based on the id Software video game Rage.
Running for three issues, the tie-in comic will serve as a prequel to the upcoming shooter and provide additional insight into its backstory.
The miniseries is written by Arvid Nelson and illustrated by Andrea Mutti. Glenn Fabry, whose credits include Preacher and Hellblaizer, will provide covers. The game's creative director Tim Willits is overseeing the project.
Rage is in development for PS3, PC and Xbox 360. It is slated for release in North America on September 13 and throughout Europe on September 16.
The first issue of the comic book series arrives in both territories on June 22.
