Posting on The Source blog, the publisher confirmed that the title will make way for the 'Flashpoint' event, which kicks off in May.
Written by Geoff Johns and illustrated by Francis Manapul, the comic debuted in April last year following The Flash: Rebirth series. An issue #13 was originally solicited for June.
Full details of the series conclusion are yet to be revealed, but the book's synopsis hints at peril for Barry Allen. It reads: "'The Road to Flashpoint' concludes as everything Barry Allen knows and cares about is lost. What is the Flashpoint? Find out in the upcoming Flashpoint #1!"
Further information is expected to be divulged this weekend at the Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo.
The Flash #12 and Flashpoint #1 arrive in stores on May 11.
