The Too Much Coffee Man creator will provide a new collection of the series for BOOM! Town, subtitled Cutie Island & Other Stories.
The publisher will also be releasing a follow-up to Wheeler's I Thought You Would Be Funnier, a collection of Wheeler's cartoons that were rejected by the New Yorker, and Grandpa Won't Wake Up, an original graphic novel written by Simon Max Hill and illustrated by Wheeler.
"There are few names in the indie comix scene bigger than Shannon Wheeler, and I'm honoured to be working with him again," said BOOM! Studios editor-in-chief Matt Gagnon. "We're excited to have Shannon's signature creation, Too Much Coffee Man, and his other projects join the BOOM! Town line and will be putting a lot of muscle into making these books something comics and humour fans will not want to miss!"
Wheeler last worked with BOOM! Town last year on the first I Thought You Would Be Funnier collection.
He was also a contributor on Marvel Comics' Strange Tales II.
