According to the publisher, the series will become Captain America And Bucky from issue #620.
Written by Ed Brubaker and Marc Andreyko with art by Chris Samnee, the comic will explore the roots of both characters - from their days as soldiers in World War II to their roles in the modern Marvel Universe.
"Getting to explore unseen pieces of Bucky's history, from WWII through today, is an absolute blast," said Andreyko. "Being able to contribute to the Captain America legacy is an honour and a privilege and I can't wait to see the readers' reactions!"
Samnee added: "The scripts I've gotten from Ed and Marc so far have been outstanding. I'm doing everything I can to live up to all the work they're putting into these scripts and pushing myself to make these pages the absolute best work I can muster."
Marvel previously announced that a new book titled Captain America will debut this summer to coincide with the arrival of Joe Johnston's Captain America: The First Avenger.
Captain America And Bucky #620 arrives in stores in July.
