Avatar Press has outlined plans for its Crossed property.
The original creative team of Garth Ennis and Jacen Burrows are to return with a new ongoing title Crossed: Badlands, it was revealed during the Avatar panel at WonderCon.
Ennis will write the first arc, followed by a second from fellow Hellblazer scribe Jamie Delano, according to Comic Book Resources.
The ongoing title will launch following the completion of the current miniseries Crossed: Psychopath and the release of the long-awaited 3D issue.
Editor-in-chief William Christensen explained that the delay was due to the 3D effects "being way more complicated than they had thought".
"[We] would rather do it right than on time," he said. "[The book will] just make everyone physically ill to their stomach."
A new six-issue Absolution miniseries was also announced from creator Christos Gage (Avengers Academy). It will debut later this year.
It was recently revealed that Ennis was to return to Marvel Comics for a yet-to-be-announced project.
