Joe Hill has teased his upcoming comics work.
Replying to a question on Twitter, the writer revealed some of his plans.
I hope to work with [Locke & Key artist Gabriel Rodriguez] on a new original project and an established superhero title at some point in the future," said the Heart Shaped Box author. "But for now, we're focused on finishing Locke & Key properly."
The IDW published metaseries is currently into its fourth miniseries, Keys to the Kingdom.
Hill began his career as a novelist. Locke & Key is his only ongoing comics project to date.
The title is being adapted into a television series directed by Mark Romanek with a cast including Miranda Otto, Sarah Bolger, Nick Stahl, Jesse McCartney, Skylar Gaertner and Ksenia Solo. Screenwriter Roberto Orci recently promised that the adaptation would remain faithful to the comic.
Hill offered no clue as to the "established superhero title" he might be working on.
