'Spell Checkers' returns with sequel

Oni Press has announced a sequel to its Spell Checkers graphic novel.
The second instalment in Jamie S. Rich, Nicholas Hitori De and Joëlle Jones's series will be titled Spell Checkers: Sons of a Preacher Man.
Both Rich and Jones posted versions of the cover on their blogs, directing fans to the solicitation on Oni's website.
"There are two new kids at school," said the publisher. "Twin brothers - one straight-laced and buttoned-up, the other a rebel in a leather jacket - and they've transferred in with trouble for the Spell Checkers.
"Jesse finds romance, but for Cynthia, it's rivalry. She and the good brother compete for student body president, while Kimmie tries to find out who murdered the last one. Dark magic is afoot, as well as dark humour, in the second mystical volume of Oni's latest hit series."
The series, which debuted in April 2010, follows the adventures of three high school girls who come into the possession of a book of spells.
