Penned by New Avengers writer Brian Michael Bendis alongside his regular collaborator Alex Maleev, Moon Knight redefines the titular character with both a new mission and base of operations.
The company has announced that, due to overwhelming sales, a second printing of the first issue has been ordered, featuring a variant cover by Maleev.
"Bendis and Maleev have a superior grasp of comics layout, and Moon Knight #1 is a fantastic debut issue," Comics Bulletin said of the new series. "It's smart, it's funny, it's action-packed, and it sets you up for more."
Moon Knight has experienced new-found popularity in recent months, due in part to his presence on Warren Ellis's Secret Avengersroster.
Moon Knight #1 Second Printing Variant is due out on June 22.
