Thunderbolts #159 has been upgraded to feature twice the amount of story pages as part of the series' tie-in to current current company-wide event Fear Itself.
The story arc sees team member Juggernaut become an avatar of the Serpent, and the issue in question will see a number of guest collaborators joining the regular creative team of Jeff Parker and Declan Shalvey.
"The chaos of Fear Itself strikes Thunderbolts Headquarters as the Juggernaut is deemed Worthy by the God of Fear!" a Marvel spokesperson said.
"With the maximum security prison bleeding super criminals, the Thunderbolts must work together to keep the Marvel Universe safe from one of its most powerful prisoners and his new-found weapons of the gods!"
Parker will by joined by former Wolverine scribe Frank Tieri, as well as Jen Van Meter and Joe Caramagna on writing duties, while Shalvey will be backed up by the likes of Matthew Southworth, Eric Canete and Valentine De Landro.
Thunderbolts #159 will be published on June 22.
