iTunes allows digital comics search

Digital products available through in-app purchases are now included in the results from the iTunes search engine, reports ICv2.
Previously, there was no way to search for comics on different distribution platforms such as comiXology, Comics+ or Graphicly. Readers had to know which distributor published the particular comic they were searching for before they could find it.
Currently, the search only directs customers to the correct app for the comic they want. Users are still required to log on to the various distributors' sites to purchase the comics.
Robot 6 also identified problems with the search engine, with results being listed for comics that are not currently available in a digital format.
The most recent comics publishers to introduce digital comics through comiXology are Aspen Comics and Archaia Entertainment.
