Marvel Comics has released two teasers in the wake of Fear Itself #3.
One image hints at the fates of heroes Captain America, Iron Man and Thor in issue #4 of the core miniseries.
It depicts Bucky Barnes laid out seemingly dead on a slab, Tony Stark facing a strange phenomenon in a blasted landscape and the God of Thunder face-to-face with the storyline's chief villain, The Serpent.
The other teaser shows the Avengers, Spider-Man and the students of the Avengers Academy battling the hammer-wielding minions called the Worthy.
'Fear Itself' has seen the heroes of the Marvel Universe facing off against an ancient and long-forgotten god who was released from his captivity by the Red Skull's daughter, Sin.
The first issue of the miniseries delivered a much needed boost to comics sales in April.
The publisher has released a set of teasers immediately following each issue of Fear Itself.

Fear Itself #4 will be released on July 6.
