DC Comics is launching a slate of dark supernatural titles as part of its company-wide overhaul.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the publisher is rolling out debut issues of Swamp Thing, Frankenstein, Agent Of SHADE, Justice League Dark, Demon Knights and Animal Man in September.

The Swamp Thing series is written by Scott Snyder with cover illustrations by Yanick Paquette. Jeff Lemire will pen Animal Man, as was reported yesterday.

Lemire will also handle writing duties on Frankenstein, Agent Of SHADE, which is inspired by Grant Morrison's Seven Soldiers Of Victory character.

Justice League Dark follows a group of supernaturally powered heroes comprising Constantine, Deadman, Shade the Changing Man and Madame Xanadu. It will be written by Peter Milligan.

The Paul Cornell-penned Demon Knights is a superhero title set in medieval times. Cast members for the comic were not divulged.

Interior artists for the titles are expected to be announced soon.
