The publisher is taking the comic, whose first ten chapters were written and illustrated by Kim, and pairing him with artist Les McClaine, reports Robot 6.
Tune is a "sci-fi slice-of-life romantic comedy adventure of interdimensional proportions". It tells the story of Andy Go, an art school dropout in a dead-end job who finds himself trapped in a life of incarceration in a parallel universe.
Kim is the creator of the Eisner and Harvey Award-winning Same Difference and Other Stories, Good as Lily and The Eternal Smile and has contributed to the Fables: 1001 Nights of Snowfall, Flight and Bizarro World anthologies.
McClaine has illustrated comics including The Tick and The Middleman and is also the writer of Johnny Crossbones, Life With Leslie, Repeat Until Death and Highway 13.
Tune will receive a new website with updates every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
First Second has yet to reveal whether the webcomic will receive a print edition.
