The licensing company has entered into an agreement with Swords and Sassery, Inc to develop TV/film, video games, toys, apparel and other tie-ins to the Image Comics title.
Surge already works with properties including Archie Comics and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and recently announced that it will be developing tie-ins for Axe Cop.
The company's vice president Elan Freedman expressed his delight at acquiring the comic, saying that it has "so much whimsy, charm and wit".
Jim Zubkavich and Edwin Huang's comic series debuted in September 2010 and is currently in the middle of its second arc.
It features the adventures of two as-of-yet nameless, monster-killing mercenaries.
The second arc sees the pair unwittingly embroiled in organised crime and political intrigue in the capital city of Urbia, and promises to finally reveal their names.
The series returned in May following a brief hiatus.
