The move sees the firm become the first major comics publisher to support the Microsoft handset, Comics Alliance reports.
"We want to cater to as wide a base as possible and we also want to make sure we're making the best product available to our customers for a reasonable price and in a timely manner," said Archie CEO Jon Goldwater.
"The last thing we want to hear is, 'I couldn't find a copy'. We have fans around the world... of all ages - and they should be able to get copies of our books as soon as possible."
Archie Comics was the first comic publisher to switch to the day-and-date digital business model. It was also the first comics firm to launch a standalone app, which has now been downloaded by more than 2 million users.
The Archie Comics app is available as a free download for Windows 7 Phone devices.
