Marvel Comics has released a cryptic teaser for a new series from Jeph Loeb and Ed McGuinness.
Issued ahead of the project's Comic-Con unveiling, the promo consists of an empty black square bearing the text "_ _ _ _ _ Reborn".
"Megastars Jeph Loeb and Ed McGuinness (Hulk, Superman/Batman) reunite this December for an action packed story of epic proportions," read a Marvel statement.
It has been noted that the empty spaces preceding 'Reborn' in the teaser suggests that the series' protagonist has five letters in their name. It has been speculated that Captain America's sidekick Bucky could take centre stage in the comic.

McGuinness serves as Marvel's regular artist on Hulk. Loeb was appointed as head of the firm's newly-established TV division last year.
Marvel CCO Joe Quesada will officially reveal the series at the CCI CoJ panel at Comic-Con International on Saturday, July 23.
