The publisher is seeking a court injunction to ban the exec from its offices, claiming that she has a history of "bullying" and inappropriate behaviour towards employees, TMZ reports.
According to the suit, several Archie staff have lodged complaints about Silberkleit's "offensive" behaviour. One incident that was documented involves Silberkleit bursting into a meeting yelling the word "penis" repeatedly, while pointing at the male attendees.
Archie claims to have consulted with an external legal firm to look into the allegations. The investigation concluded that the publisher should cut all ties with the exec.
Silberkleit joined Archie's managerial setup following the death of her husband Michael in 1998. She was named co-CEO with Jon Goldwater the following year.
Silberkleit is yet to comment on the allegations.
