'The Infinite' teaser image released

An Infinite teaser has been released by Image Comics.
Robert Kirkman and Rob Liefeld's new title - published under the Skybound line - is due to debut in August.
Phrased from main character Bowen's point-of-view, the teaser asks, "Did I come back in time to save the world... or just her?"
The series centres on a soldier who travels back in time to ally with a younger version of himself. The details of the storyline and Bowen's purpose in the past are yet to be revealed.
The Walking Dead creator Kirkman has defended his artistic collaborator Liefeld, an influential artist in the '90s. Liefeld is often derided for his character designs, which regularly feature huge shoulder pads and superfluous pouches.
Liefeld is illustrating Hawk and Dove alongside Sterling Gates as part of DC Comics' September relaunch.
A limited-edition, hardbound version of the first issue will be available at San Diego Comic-Con later in July.
