DC Comics has published a solicitation for the long-awaited Shade miniseries.
The 12-issue series will be written by James Robinson and the first issue will be illustrated by Cully Hamner.
Later issues will feature the work of high-profile artists including Darwyn Cooke, Javier Pulido, Jill Thompson, Frazer Irving and Gene Ha.

"An attack at the Starman museum kicks off a globe-hopping, centuries-spanning quest that will irrevocably change The Shade's life, and ultimately shed light on his true origin," said DC in its solicitation.
Robinson brought the supernatural anti-hero to prominence when he reimagined the Shade for his acclaimed run on Starman.
He announced the title in early 2010 after returning to the character for the one-shot Starman tie-in to the 'Blackest Night' event.
Shade was announced alongside the second issues in DC's new 'Dark' line.
The publisher has begun to reveal the miniseries that will support its 52 new ongoing titles, including Huntress and Penguin comics.
The Shade #1 will be released on October 12.
