The third deluxe, limited-edition volume in its series of showcases explores the work that the cartoonist produced for EC Comics.
"I think most people would agree that at EC Comics Wally did his finest work," IDW editor Scott Dunbier told Comic Book Resources.
"Some of the stories will include 'My World', which is probably Wood's most famous story and arguably his best. 'Mars is Heaven', which is an adaptation of a Ray Bradbury story; there's a story called 'Perimeter' from 'Two-Fisted Tales', which is just a beautiful story. 'He Walked Among Us', another classic science fiction job. EC stories were so beautiful, but also so much fun to read."
The previous two 'Artist's Edition' volumes are Dave Stevens' complete Rocketeer and Walter Simonson's The Mighty Thor Artist's Edition.
The first of those volumes debuted at last year's Comic-Con, with the latter being released at this week's event.
Wood is bests known for his work at EC and satirical magazine Mad, but also produced art for Marvel and DC.
Two more 'Artist's Editions' are due to be announced at Comic-Con, which officially starts today.
