'Kick-Ass 2' gets back on schedule

Marvel Comics has previewed Kick-Ass 2 #3 and promised a return to a regular printing schedule.
The latest issue of Mark Millar and John Romita Jr's seven-part sequel series will be released on August 24.
Kick-Ass 2 debuted in September last year but has since suffered major delays. Issue #2 was released in March.
"I couldn't be more excited that the scheduling problems have all been taken care of because this is the most I've enjoyed working in the medium since I started," said Millar.

He added: "I'm thrilled that fans have kept on supporting the book, our sales have been incredible, and everyone has been appreciated. I can't tell you how amazing it feels to feels to know this is out every six weeks like clockwork now. The ride only gets wilder from here!"
Kick-Ass is published by Marvel's creator-owned Icon imprint.
The first series was adapted into a movie by Matthew Vaughn and Jane Goldman.
Goldman has denied that she is working on a script for a Kick-Ass 2 film.
