Dynamite Entertainment has unveiled the latest title in its Kirby: Genesis line.
Sterling Gates (Hawk and Dove) will script Captain Victory, the newest addition to the project celebrating the work of the legendary Jack Kirby.
The comic will follow the adventures of the intergalactic lawmen known as the Rangers and their leader Captain Victory - a man who holds a dangerous secret.

"Captain Victory and His Galactic Rangers was one of the first books Jack Kirby wrote and drew outside of DC Comics and Marvel," said Gates, "making it one of the first creator-owned books in comic history - and I'm exceptionally proud to be continuing Victory's story.
"Fans of Kirby's original Pacific Comics series will recognise these classic Kirby characters and concepts, but we're going to be doing our best to present the Rangers in a bold and exciting way for today's audience."
"Captain Victory is the seminal work that Kirby did on his own," said acclaimed artist Alex Ross. "Of all his many projects and creations for mainstream publishers, Captain Victory is the one where he put forth his greatest push and ambitions to try to break away from the commercial world where he didn't own anything."
The Kirby: Genesis project was launched by Dynamite to revive the work that Kirby did outside of Marvel and DC Comics.
Marvels collaborators Ross and Kurt Busiek have reunited for the project.
Kirby Genesis: Captain Victory will launch in October.
