The publisher has acquired the rights to Flint Dille and David Marconi's classic 1988 graphic novel, and plans to reissue it next year.
Agent 13 is a pulp adventure created by Dille and Marconi in the 1980s. The series spawned two graphic novels, three prose novels, multiple radio shows and a role-playing game.
"Consider us the advance guard in bringing this lost cult figure back, with 2012′s re-release of Agent 13: The Midnight Avenger," read a statement from Hermes. "Believe me, he's soon going to start popping up everywhere soon, and we're here to set up the introductions for you.
"We here at Hermes Press have brought back classic material before, but never anything quite like this."
Amazon previously re-released the prose novels The Invisible Empire, The Serpentine Assassin and Acolytes Of Darkness for Kindle devices.
An Agent 13 movie is currently in development by Sean Daniel, producer of The Mummy series, Dazed And Confused, and The Wolfman.
Agent 13: The Midnight Avenger will return to print next year.
