'Wonder Woman' is a horror comic, says writer

The scribe told Coventry Telegraph that the relaunched title will be a "horror book" and a "soft reboot" of the DC Comics character.
"People need to relax, she's not wearing pants," he told the newspaper. "But it's not going to be a superhero book. I can guarantee you that, it's not a superhero book. It's a horror book."
Wonder Woman #1 will debut next month as part of DC's company-wide overhaul. According to Azzarello, the first issue has been completed and is ready for print.
"The first issue's all done and we're running right up to the edge, as far as what we can get away with," he added. "We're pushing the envelope with this one. I firmly believe that that's what this character needs right now."
Wonder Woman #1, which features artwork from Cliff Chiang, arrives in stores on September 21.
