The publisher also told the Los Angeles Times that six more of its relaunched titles have exceeded 100,000 advanced sales.
Justice League #1 is on course to become the bestselling comic of 2011. Marvel's Ultimate Comics Spider-Man #160 currently holds that honour with 168,000 copies sold.
DC's company-wide relaunch has been billed as "a two-pronged strategy" to revive the company's fortunes and draw in new readers, as well as make gains in the digital comics market.
"The truth is people are leaving anyway, they're just doing it quietly, and we have been papering it over with increased prices," said co-publisher Dan DiDio. "We didn't want to wake up one day and find we had a bunch of $20 books that 10,000 people are buying."
Justice League #1 arrives in stores on August 31.
