'Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season 9' and 'Angel and Faith' teaser trailer released

A teaser trailer for Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season 9 and Angel and Faith has been released.

The video shows scenes from the cataclysmic end of Buffy Season 8 followed by teasers for Dark Horse Comics' two forthcoming ongoing series.

We see Buffy coming to terms with her new life following the conclusion of the previous title, while Faith and Angel battle a tentacled monster.

"The night belongs to them," reads the trailer text.

Buffy creator Joss Whedon is executive producer on the titles, with Andrew Chambliss and Season 8 artist Georges Jeanty working on Season 9.

Avengers Academy writer Christos Gage and artist Rebekah Isaacs will be the creative team on Angel and Faith.

Angel and Faith debuted this week, with Buffy Season 9 following later in September.
