The publisher is releasing seven volumes of the manga title in a week, starting with yesterday's Volume 46, to promote the move, ICv2 reports.
Volume 52 of Masashi Kishimoto's bestselling series will be available in print and digital on September 6, and all subsequent releases will be launched under the day-and-date model.
Viz accelerated its publication of Naruto in the US market in 2007, but the title still lags behind in the territory compared to Japan, where 58 volumes have been released.
Naruto and associated manga anthology Weekly Shōnen Jump have sold more than one million copies in Japan. Naruto has remained the bestselling manga property in the US since the TV series of the same name debuted on Cartoon Network in 2005.
Naruto Volume 48 will be available to download tomorrow.
