Lord of the Jungle has been announced by Dynamite Entertainment.
The series, written by Arvid Nelson and illustrated by Roberto Castro, is based on the Edgar Rice Burroughs classic Tarzan of the Apes.

"Tarzan's DNA is in everything from super heroes to space epics," said Nelson. "But I was surprised at how little I knew about him, because the many adaptations wander very far from the original character.
"His true story is so much deeper and more interesting - that's what we're trying to bring to life in Lord of the Jungle."
Dynamite president and publisher Nick Barrucci has confirmed that the debut issue of Lord of the Jungle will retail at the introductory price of $1 (60p) to allow the series to be "accessible to fans old and new".
Tarzan first appeared in a serialised story in a 1912 issue of All Story Magazine. Warner Bros previously confirmed plans to bring the character back to cinemas with a new movie adaptation.
Lord of the Jungle #1 arrives in stores in December.
