The series will be relaunched with a new number one next month, having been published regularly since 1963.
Following the events of X-Men: Schism, all titles in the X-Men family will undergo a facelift under the banner of 'X-Men: Regenesis'.
"Battered, beaten and bruised due to the catastrophic events of Fear Itself and X-Men: Schism, the creative team of Kieron Gillen and Greg Land bring fans the final issue of Uncanny X-Men with Uncanny X-Men #544!" a Marvel spokesperson said. "They've been through it all together, and now they're on the dawn of a new age.
"And when you throw Mr. Sinister into the mix - there's no telling how this one will end!"
Uncanny X-Men will be relaunched alongside a brand new sister title called Wolverine and the X-Men.
Uncanny X-Men #544, penned by Kieron Gillen with pencils by Greg Land, will be published on October 19.
