The long-awaited conclusion to the incomplete series will be released in a single edition containing the entire story, reports Robot 6.
Writer David Hopkins and artist Brent Schoonover (Mr Murder is Dead) are self-publishing the book.
"After years of sitting in limbo waiting to see the light of day, it's finally here," wrote Schoonover on his blog.
"I've always been very proud of this book and felt that those who picked up volume one were really missing out on some of the best parts of the larger story by not having the final volume."
Astronaut Dad tells the tale of a group of second-string astronauts and their dysfunctional relationships with their families.
The book will be available through Amazon and the forthcoming Astronaut Dad website.
The original volume of the series was published by the now defunct Silent Devil Productions in 2008.
