The Demo creators will reunite for the comic, which will be announced at New York Comic Con later in the month.
Wood posted part of the Dark Horse signing schedule on his blog, followed by the word, "Huh?"
The project will be announced at the Dark Horse panel on Friday, October 14 before their signing slot on Saturday, October 15.
Wood and Cloonan first worked together on Channel Zero: Jennie One at AiT/Planet Lar.
They went on to work on the acclaimed Demo limited series for the publisher, which received several Eisner Award nominations.
They returned with Demo 2 in 2010, which was published by Vertigo.
Cloonan is currently working on a Victor Von Doom miniseries with Nick Spencer. Wood is collaborating with Kristian Donaldson on The Massive for Dark Horse.
Wood and Cloonan also worked together last year in a two-issue arc of Wood's Northlanders.
