Marvel Comics announced the new creative team at New York Comic-Con.
Uncanny X-Force and Venom writer Remender will join the series from issue #21.1, with artist Hardman (Hulk) following on issue #22.
The team will experience a roster change which will see Hawkeye take on the role of leader and Giant Man and Captain Britain also joining the team.
"Yeah, it's going to be a fun year," Remender told Newsarama.
"I'm definitely planning on interconnecting [my] three titles, and having a lot of things hopping from one to the other, which is fun. I can create my own little covert universe."
Remender's run will introduce two new threats - the Descendents, a race descended from robots across the galaxy, and a new iteration of the Masters of Evil.
Secret Avengers #21.1 will be illustrated by guest artist Patrick Zircher and acts as a bridge between Warren Ellis's current run on the title and the new aspects Remender and Hardman will be introducing.
The run will begin next year.
