Gamers Digital are developing a "first-person mystery" based on the supernatural comic, due for release on PC, Mac and iOS devices.
Ghost follows a young woman named Elisa Cameron, who is gifted with supernatural powers following her murder. The character has featured in crossovers with Hellboy, and DC Comics' Batgirl in recent years.
"Ghost is a first-person mystery game. It is about exploration. We are using her unique powers in order to drive the gameplay experience. Her powers are key to locating objects she needs to uncover her 'murders'," Gamers Digital head Scott Zerby told Newsarama.
"By using her Ghosting abilities she can eliminate the objects that are not needed and focus on the ones that are. She can also quickly move between locations with her teleportation, which makes it easy for her to find the next piece to each puzzle."
Zerby went on to say that Rocksteady Studios' Batman: Arkham City was one of the main influences behind Ghost's development.
"We are leveraging this experience to build Ghost, while constantly playing competitors' games. Batman: Arkham City is a good example of a game that has influenced us," he added.
Ghost will be released in early 2012.
