New 'Star Wars' titles announced by Dark Horse Comics

Dark Horse Comics has announced five new Star Wars titles for 2012.
The comics will tell the origin story of the Jedi order, explore the events following the death of Boba Fett, and shed light on Darth Vader's path in the wake of Revenge of the Sith.
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic - War will be the first to debut, on January 11, 2012. The miniseries is written by John Jackson Miller with cover art by Benjamin Carre and a variant design by Dave Wilkins.

The story takes place during the war between the Republic and the Mandalorians, and is being billed as a jumping-on point for fans interested in learning more about the Star Wars universe, ICv2 reports.
Star Wars: Dawn of the Jedi #0 launches on February 1, revealing the origin of the galactic order. It will be followed by Star Wars: Dawn of the Jedi - Force Storm #1 on February 15.
Star Wars: Blood Ties - Boba Fett is Dead is a new series written by Tom Taylor. It sheds light on the events following the demise of the bounty hunter, and is slated for an April debut.
Star Wars: Darth Vader and the Ghost Prison, a five-issue miniseries by Haden Blackman and Agustin Alessio, is scheduled to arrive the following month. The story picks up directly after the events of Revenge of the Sith.
Star Wars: Knight Errant - Escape will round of the new launches in June. The comic is written by John Jackson Miller and illustrated by Marco Castiello.
