The agreement grants the toy company the right to produce action figures and other merchandise for the upcoming live action movies The Dark Knight Rises and Man of Steel.
Mattel will also release official toys based on the studios' future animated projects, including Green Lantern: The Animated Series, following the multi-year deal.
DC and Warner have stated that the firm will have "unprecedented" access to its properties. Mattel will deliver products across all of its core brands, such as Hot Wheels, Matchbox, Barbie, Mattel Games and Fisher-Price.
"We have developed an incredibly successful partnership with Mattel and we are very excited about taking the relationship to new levels," said Brad Globe, president of Warner Bros Consumer Products.
"Warner Bros and DC Entertainment have an unrivalled slate of content support across all key platforms essential to our global consumer products business which is anchored by our alliance with Mattel."
Mattel has also entered an agreement with Diamond Comic Distributors to ship its 6" action figures across Europe.
