The print and digital editions of its comic books will be released on the same day in a staggered roll-out that will be finished by the end of March 2012, reports Gizmodo.
All the publisher's mainstream books will be included in the move excluding third-party licensed titles such as Stephen King's The Stand and the adult-oriented MAX Imprint series.
Marvel has long taken the lead in the digital comics market, from its 2007 Marvel Digital Comics Unlimited service to releasing the iPad's first comics app.
DC Comics recently launched a day-and-date programme for all its mainstream titles, debuting with its New 52 relaunch.
Recently, Marvel has experimented with same-day digital releases on Fear Itself and certain 'Ultimate Comics' titles.
Its new Avenging Spider-Man series will be released with free digital download codes.
